This page lists player-vs-player changes relative to the vanilla game.
General Changes[edit]
- New dueling arenas accessible via items which can be purchased from Anya
- Spectator mode can be toggled by typing .spec or .spectate within the safe zone of an arena
- After dying in these arenas, characters revive without needing to retrieve their corpse
- Note: Hardcore characters revive in the same way - HC dueling can be done inside PvP arenas without risking characters, but character death is still permanent everywhere else
- Slow, Knockback (from items), Flat Elemental Absorb, and Attackers Take Damage are disabled in PvP arenas
- Stuns in PvP can no longer be reapplied to players who are already stunned, and attacks/hits/spells against stunned players will reduce the stun duration by 2 frames each
PvP Multipliers[edit]
Skills deal 16%/12%/6% of their damage against other players and their minions in Normal/Nightmare/Hell difficulty. The following skills have additional modifiers:

- Jab: 85% (Normal/Nightmare), 90% (Hell)
- Poison Javelin: 150% (Normal/Nightmare)
- Plague Javelin: 150% (Normal/Nightmare), 60% (Hell)
- Ice Arrow: 180% (Normal/Nightmare)
- Freezing Arrow: 180% (Normal/Nightmare)
- Immolation Arrow: 180% (Normal/Nightmare)
- Decoy: 90% (Normal/Nightmare)
- Assassin
- Psychic Hammer: 20% (Normal/Nightmare), 10% (Hell)
- Mind Blast: 15% (Normal/Nightmare), 10% (Hell)
- Lightning Sentry: 90% (Normal/Nightmare), 65% (Hell)
- Chain Lightning Sentry: 90% (Normal/Nightmare), 65% (Hell)
- Blade Sentinel: 80% (Hell)
- Blade Fury: 80% (Hell)
- Barbarian
- Druid
- Molten Boulder: 90% (Normal/Nightmare), 80% (Hell)
- Volcano: 80% (Hell)
- Tornado: 80% (Hell)
- Shock Wave: 150% (Normal/Nightmare)
- Necromancer
- Teeth: 45% (Normal/Nightmare), 35% (Hell)
- Bone Spear: 90% (Normal/Nightmare), 70% (Hell)
- Bone Spirit: 90% (Normal/Nightmare), 45% (Hell)
- Corpse Explosion: 50%
- Desecrate: 150% (Normal/Nightmare), 25% (Hell)
- Poison Nova: 150% (Normal/Nightmare)
- Paladin
- Holy Fire (aura only): 50%
- Holy Shock (aura only): 50%
- Smite: 35% (Hell)
- Holy Bolt: 90%
- Blessed Hammer: 90% (Normal/Nightmare), 60% (Hell)
- Fist of the Heavens: 45% (Normal/Nightmare), 15% (Hell)
- Joust: 25%
- Vengeance: 175% (Normal/Nightmare)

- Sorceress
- Frost Nova: 140% (Normal/Nightmare), 125% (Hell)

- Charged Bolt: 175% (Normal/Nightmare), 65% (Hell)

- Telekinesis: 10%
- Lightning: 200% (Normal/Nightmare), 180% (Hell)
- Thunder Storm: 150% (Normal/Nightmare), 35% (Hell)
- Lesser Hydra: 110% (Normal/Nightmare)
- Combustion: 85% (Hell)
Other PvP Skill Changes[edit]
- Mind Blast: stun lasts 1.5 seconds instead of 2 seconds (vanilla was 1.8 + 0.2 per level up to 10 seconds), has a 6 frame cooldown in PvP arenas
- Bone Spear: only fires 1 projectile in PvP arenas
- Holy Bolt: only fires 1 projectile in PvP arenas
- Smite: stun lasts up to 2.5 seconds instead of up to 10 seconds
- Charge: has a 4 frame cooldown in PvP arenas
