Patch Notes Document (Reddit Thread)

NOTICE: Items with +X Open Wounds Damage per Second are being fundamentally changed this season. Old versions will cause compatibility errors and will need to be dropped or converted in singleplayer.

GENERAL CHANGES

  • Added a new mechanic called "Corrupted Zones"
    • Any game that was hosted with the baal quest complete will have a "Corrupted Zone"
    • These zones will have an area level of 85 and a much greater chance to drop worldstone shards
    • The zone chosen on game creation will change every 15 minutes and will be server wide (An already created game will not have it's Corrupted Zone changed and will require creating a new game to do so)
  • Crushing blow has been reworked to work at full value against regular monsters and bosses. Prime evils will have an aggressive diminishing return however crushing blow will still function all the way to 0% health
  • Reworked throwing potions
    • Throwing potions will now reduce enemies resistances for a short period
    • Two new types of throwing potions have been added for the cold and light elements
  • Added the ability to lock your equipment and charm slots
  • Updated to the newest version of D2GL (Made by Bayaraa)
    • This should fix issues for AMD users
  • Added a new help screen that can be found by pressing H in game
  • Added the ability to infuse a map orb or a stack of map orbs by combining the ingredients with them (This allows you to use just the infused orb alongside a map to complete the recipe)
  • Enabled the recipe to reroll 2 white arrows into a white bolt or vice versa
  • Shrine buffs will now be provided to all allies within proximity
  • Your most recent messages will now be kept within your chat log (L) even when swapping between games
    • When making player reports please include any associated chat logs
  • Fixed mercenaries not activating multiple auras when you change equipment
  • Added a new belt status feature that allows you to monitor the items within your belt
  • The unique TP/ID tomes (Horadric Almanac & Horadric Navigator) now have a very low chance of dropping anywhere (fixed - wasn't mentioned)

MAPS

  • Reduced the drop rate of unique maps by 40%
  • Added a new unique map "The Fallen Gardens" which has an increased chance to drop jewels as well as the boss dropping a Rainbow Facet
  • Map Health Prefixes and Suffixes have had the following changes
    • Health bonus tiers rescaled from 10-20% / 20-30% / 30-40% to 5-15% / 15-25% / 25-35%
    • Associated experience bonuses have been increased from 5-6% / 6-7% / 7-8% to 6-8% / 8-10% / 10-12%
    • Reduced the weight of health prefixes and suffixes by 50%
  • Reduced the chance of the Gheed event selling high level items
  • Kadala's Heirloom can now be found on single player
  • Fixed a bug that allowed lower level than intended players to enter maps
  • Increased the drop rates of Horadric Scarabs
  • You can now use a stack of orbs of destruction on multiple maps at a time (fixed - reverted)
  • Guardian of Fate map event monster can no longer be revived

Zhar's Sanctum

  • Reduced Heirophant's Blizzard level in Zhar's map 'Hidden Waterways' from level 17 to level 14
  • Negative all resistance modifier reduced from -30% to -20% to -10%
  • Health modifier increased from 10-30% to 20-30%

Stygian Caverns

  • Reduced the size of the "Warlord of Blood" unique map by roughly 20%
  • Fixed a bug that would cause the Warlord of Blood Boss to get stuck outside of the boss arena
  • The "Warlord of Blood" unique map will now only drop corrupted items
  • Stronghold of Acheron density increased by 55%
  • Health modifier increased from 10-30% to 20-30%

Dungeons

  • Base experience bonus increased from 40-50% to 60-70%

UBERS

  • Reworked the difficulty scaling of Diablo Clone and Rathma into three Tiers
    • Tier 1 is the easy difficulty and cannot drop a rare unique item (Can still drop an anni)
    • Tier 2 is the regular difficulty, can drop the rare uniques and requires between a Vex-Sur to be combined with the Vision of Terror / Voidstone
    • Tier 3 is the hardest difficulty, can drop the rare uniques at an increased rate and requires between a Ber-Zod to be combined with the Vision of Terror / Voidstone. Being one of the first three players of any class to complete the Tier 3 encounter will unlock a season wide aura
  • Increased the drop rate of Prime Evil Soul
  • Reduced the drop rate of Pure Demonic Essence
  • Increased the drop rates of Diablo Clone and Rathma specific uniques (From Dungeons and Bosses)

LOOT FILTER

Fixed - The following changes were excluded from the patch notes:

  • There are now hotkeys available for quickly switching between filter levels (ctrl + numpad 0 through 9)
  • Added CLASS filter condition that will match on all class-restricted items
  • Added mace subtype filter conditions: CLUB, TMACE, and HAMMER
  • JAV will now match on javelins only, rather than on spears
  • SPEAR will no longer match on javelins
  • CRAFTALVL will now correctly factor in the item's magic level

CLASSES

Amazon

Fire Arrow

  • Base damage increased from 3-4 to 8.5-12
  • Level 1-8 scaling increased from 1-1.5 to 3.5-4.5
  • Level 8-16 scaling increased from 3.5 to 6 to 6-17.5
  • Level 16-22 scaling increased from 10-12 to 16-17.5
  • Level 22-28 scaling increased from 17.5-19.5 to 32-35
  • Level 28+ scaling increased from 25-27 to 48-52.5
  • Synergies reduced from 26% to 21%

Magic Arrow

  • Level 22-28 scaling reduced from 22.5-25.5 to 22-24
  • Level 28+ scaling reduced from 34-38 to 33-35
  • Fixed an issue that was causing the tooltip to display lower values than the actual damage

Cold Arrow

  • Synergies reduced from 22% to 20%
  • Fixed an issue that was causing the tooltip to display incorrect values

Jab

  • Base damage bonus increased from 20% to 30%
  • Damage per level increased from 14% to 18%
  • Synergies increased from 12% to 14%

Javelin and spear mastery

  • Base enhanced damage bonus increased from 35% to 40%
  • Damage per level increased from 10% to 12%

Decoy

  • Lowered the threat of decoys (decoys will now have similar aggro to mercenaries)

Assassin

Cobra Strike

  • Synergies increased from 14% to 20%

Dragon Claw

  • Can no longer be interrupted
  • Now procs all built up charges on both weapon attacks before consuming them

Blade Sentinel

  • Synergies increased from 10% to 12%
  • Blade sentinel now releases an aoe burst when changing directions (cannot happen more than once per 12 frames)

Blade Fury

  • Synergies increased from 7% to 10%

Phoenix Strike

  • Third charge freeze duration reduced from 1 second to .5

Weapon Block

  • Base parry chance set to 8%
  • Now gains 1% faster block rate per soft point instead of hard points
  • Now can be increased by increased block chance at a 1:5 ratio (weapon block : increased block chance)
  • The blocking mechanic from weapon based blocks will now be called a "Parry" to differentiate it from normal block
  • Parry chance cap reduced from 60% to 55%

Blade Shield

  • No longer uses durability
  • Radius is no longer capped by weapon range
  • Changed the frame delay on blade shield to scale with hard points. It now starts at 20 frame delay base level 1 and scales to 10 frame delay at level 20 (from 12 frames flat at all levels before)
  • Now has an attack rating check
  • Now has 40% attack rating base
  • Now gains 15% attack rating per level
  • Now uses "on striking" instead of "on attack"
    • Can now apply the following effects (fixed - wasn't mentioned)
      • Chance to Cast on Striking
      • Crushing Blow
      • Open Wounds
      • Life after each Kill
      • Mana after each Kill
    • No longer procs Does not apply the following effects (they are usually applied by strikes) (fixed - these never applied in previous seasons, only briefly during the closed beta)
      • Slow
      • Freeze target
      • Chance to flee
      • Life gained on hit
      • Blinds target

Venom

  • Now deals it's damage over 1 second instead of 2
  • Venom's damage has been doubled and top end increased slightly

Traps

  • Sentries will now be displayed similar to other pets

Kick Damage Formula

  • Reworked kick damage dex/str scaling:
    • Removed strength from base feet damage calc, changed from dex/6 - dex/5 to dex/3 - dex/2
    • Lowered strength attribute bonus on boots from 120 -> 80

Mind blast

  • Reverted back to 100% physical damage

Fists of Fire

  • First charge and third charge meteor fire burn damage per second
    • Level 16-22 scaling increased from 3-4 to 4-6
    • Level 22-28 scaling increased from 4-5 to 7-9
    • Level 28+ scaling increased from 5-6 to 10-12
  • Second charge fire nova damage
    • Level 22-28 scaling increased from 27-33 to 28-33
    • Level 28+ scaling increased from 33-40 to 41-48
  • Third charge meteor impact damage
    • Level 22-28 scaling increased from 16-17 to 17-18
    • Level 28+ scaling increased from 22-23 to 25-26

Blades of Ice

  • Base freeze duration change from 100 frames to 250
  • Removed the 10 frames per level freeze duration scaling
  • Synergies increased from 20% to 22%

Barbarian

Deep Wounds

  • Fixed an issue that was causing it's values to cap (No longer has any cap)

Concentrate

  • Synergies increased from 18% to 20%

Berserk

  • Enemy physical resistance penetration cap increased from -30% to -45%

Double Throw

  • Increased the max number of bounces from 5 to 7

Druid

Fury

  • Damage per level reduced from 14% to 10%

Feral Rage

  • Damage per level reduced from 12% to 10%
  • Synergy values reduced from 8% to 6%

Werewolf

  • Damage per level reduced from 10% to 8%

Werebear

  • Defense per level increased from 8% to 10%
  • +10% max health bonus now displays on tooltip

Rabies

  • Synergies reduced from 12% to 10%
  • Level 16-22 scaling reduced from 16-16 to 15-15
  • Level 22-28 scaling reduced from 24-24 to 23-23
  • Level 28+ scaling reduced from 32-32 to 31-31

Lycanthropy

  • Base max life per level bonus reduced from 10% to 5%
  • Level 22+ max life bonus per level reduced from 2% to 1%

Ravens

  • Level 16-22 scaling reduced from 17-18 to 14-15
  • Level 22-28 scaling reduced from 22-23 to 21-22
  • Level 28+ scaling increased from 27-28 to 28-29

Twister

  • Synergies increased from 22% to 24%

Tornado

  • Synergies increased from 14% to 16% (fixed - incorrectly said 16% to 18%)

Necromancer

Teeth

  • Level 22-28 scaling reduced from 15-18 to 15-17
  • Level 28+ scaling reduced from 23-27 to 22-25
  • Synergies reduced from 25% to 24%

Bone spear

  • Synergies increased from 10% to 14%

Bone spirit

  • Synergies increased from 10% to 14%

Poison Strike

  • Synergies increased from 22% to 25%
  • Base poison resistance penetration increase from -2% to -5%

Poison Nova

  • Synergies increased from 10% to 12%

Desecrate

  • Level 22-28 scaling reduced from 21-21 to 19-19
  • Level 28+ scaling increased from 21-21 to 24-24
  • Corpses now decay after 16 seconds to prevent "shenk bug" (This bug is when there are too many sprites on screen causing things to vanish or flicker)
  • Disabled druid vines from providing health/mana when eating corpses generated from desecrate

Corpse Explosion

  • Level 8-16 scaling increased from 2-4 to 3-5
  • Level 16-22 scaling increased from 5-10 to 6-10
  • Synergies increased from 8% to 10%
  • Radius increased from 10 yards to 12 yards

Dark Pact

  • Fixed dark pact not working in maps with "Monsters have reduced curse duration"

Revive

  • Fixed the panther javelin throwing monster's javelin hit collide type so that it will deal damage as a revive

Fire Golem

  • Fire Golem Melee Attack
    • Base damage reduced from 20-25 to 12-15
    • Level 1-8 scaling reduced from 10-12 to 4-5
    • Level 8-16 scaling reduced from 11-13 to 7-9
    • Level 16-22 scaling reduced from 12-14 to 11-13
    • Level 22-28 scaling increased from 13-15 to 13-16
    • Level 28+ scaling reduced from 14-16 to 13-16
    • Synergies increased from 4% to 5%
  • Fire Golem Holy Fire Aura
    • Base damage reduced from 25-35 to 21-29
    • Level 1-8 scaling reduced 15-17 to 13-14
    • Level 8-16 scaling reduced from 20-22 to 17-18
    • Level 16-22 scaling reduced from 25-27 to 21-22
    • Level 22-28 scaling reduced from 30-32 to 25-26
    • Level 28+ scaling reduced from 30-32 to 27-28
    • Synergies increased from 4% to 5%

Paladin

Smite

  • Base damage bonus increased from 20% to 40%
  • No longer knocks back in PvE

Zeal

  • Added +20% base bonus damage
  • Now gains it's +20% damage per level bonus from level 1-4 instead of gaining +0%
  • Synergies reduced from 20% to 15%

Holy Shield

  • Level 28+ damage scaling increased from 4-4 to 5-5

Sanctuary

  • Added 50% base attack rating
  • Added 5% attack rating per level
  • Synergies increased from 7% to 8%
  • Now has holy sword instead of conversion as a synergy

Holy Fire

  • Added 50% base attack rating
  • Added 5% attack rating per level
  • Level 1-8 scaling increased from 1-1 to 1-2
  • Level 8-16 scaling increased from 3-3 to 3-4
  • Level 16-22 scaling increased from 10-10 to 10-12
  • Level 22-28 scaling increased from 19-19 to 18-21
  • Level 28+ scaling increased from 23-25 to 25-30
  • Synergies reduced from 18% to 15%

Holy Shock

  • Added 50% base attack rating
  • Added 5% attack rating per level
  • Synergies increased from 8% to 9%

Holy Freeze

  • Added 50% base attack rating
  • Added 5% attack rating per level

Replaced Conversion with a new skill: Holy Sword

  • Allows the paladin to gain parry chance while wielding two handed swords (Similar to Weapon Block)
  • Provides the paladin with increased damage to demons and undead

Sacrifice

  • Synergies increased from 20% to 25%
  • Lowered the delay for the AoE explosion on death

Joust

  • Items that reduce cooldown will now allow you to reduce the cooldown below the 1.5 second minimum cooldown

Charge

  • Charge was previously not gaining it's enhanced damage bonus, this has been fixed
  • Enhanced damage per level reduced from 30% to 25%
  • Synergies reduced from 25% to 20%

Sorceress

Energy shield

  • Cap increased from 85% to 90%

Ice Barrage

  • Explosion radius increased from 4 yards to 4.6

Lightning Mastery

  • Lightning damage per level bonus reduced from 12% to 10%

Thunder storm

  • Synergies increased from 6% to 8%

Telekinesis

  • Synergies increased from 14% to 15%

Rune master

  • +10-20% curse resistance increased to +20%

Razor's Edge

  • 225-300% Enhanced damage increased to +225-325%

Stormrider

  • 25% chance to cast Level 27 charged bolt on striking increased to 30%

Stone Crusher

  • +180-220% enhanced damage increased to +220-260%

Stormlash

  • 20% chance to cast level 28 tornado on striking increased to +30%

Horizon's Tornado

  • 20% chance to cast level 28 tornado on striking increased to +25%

Baranar's Star

  • 1-300 fire damage increased to 50-300
  • 1-300 cold damage increased to 50-300
  • 1-300 lightning damage increased to 50-300

Swordguard

  • +10-20% all resistance increased to +20-30%

Grandfather

  • Removed +3-5 warcries (barbarian only)
  • Added +2-3 to war cry (barbarian only)
  • Added +2 to all skills
  • Added repairs 1 durability in 4 seconds

Odium

  • Adds 180-220 to 320-360 cold damage increased to 255-450

Lightsabre

  • 5% chance to cast level 28 chain lightning on attack increased to 8%

Flamebellow

  • 12% chance to cast level 16 firestorm increased to level 22
  • +5% fire absorb removed
  • Added +40% increased attack speed

Ghostflame

  • +240-340% enhanced damage increased +280-340%

Wraith Flight

  • Readded Ethereal
  • +190-250% enhanced damage reduced to +190-240%

The Scalper

  • +480-600 open wounds damage per second increased to +500-700

Deathbit

  • 5% reanimate as returned increased to 7%

Death's Web

  • +1-2 to poison and bone spells (necromancer only) increased to +2-3

Suicide Branch

  • +1-2 to blood warp increased to +2-3

The Oculus

  • +10-25 all resistances increased to +15-25

Tempest

  • 30% chance to cast level 16 energy shield when struck replaced with level 16 energy shield when equipped

Shadow Killer

  • 33% chance to cast level 18 frost nova on striking increased to level 24

Zerae's Resolve

  • +2 to valkyrie (amazon only) removed
  • Added +2 to passive and magic skills
  • +220-270% enhanced damage increased to +240-285%

Lycander's Flank

  • +50-100% enhanced defense removed
  • Physical damage taken reduced by 10% increased to +10-20%

Spirit Keeper

  • 5-8% cold absorb reduced to 4-6%
  • +1-2 to druid skills increased to +2

Nightwing's Veil

  • +5-15% cold damage increased to +8-15%

Andariel's Visage

  • -30% fire resist reduced to -20%

Vampire Gaze

  • +6-22 cold damage increased to 30-60

Dark Abyss

  • +3-5 to mana after each kill reduced to +3-4
  • +3-5 to life after each kill reduced to +3-4

Blackoak Shield

  • 8% chance to cast level 15 decrepify when struck replaced with level 11 shiver armor when equipped

Radament's Sphere

  • +20% increased chance of blocking increased to +30%

Tiamat's Rebuke

  • 15% chance to cast level 6 hydra when struck increased to level 12

Dracul's Grasp

  • 7-10% life stolen per hit increased to +8-12%
  • +10-15 strength increased to +10-20

Tearhaunch

  • +1-2 to defensive auras (paladin only) increased to +2

Added a new item: Leoric's Mithril Bane

Added a new item: Uldyssian's Awakening

RUNEWORDS

Added a new chest runeword: Hustle

Added a new chest runeword: Innocence

Asylum

  • Can now be made in two handed swords

Chaos

  • Reduced enhanced damage from 250-300% to 200-250%
  • Reduced magic damage from 216-471 to 200-400

Ferocity

  • +8-10 to zeal increased to +12-14

Breath of the Dying

  • +8-10% life stolen per hit increased to +8-12%
  • +20-30 to all attributes increased to +30

SET ITEMS

Bul-Kathos' Tribal Guardian

  • Now has a +50% enhanced damage bonus (two piece bonus)

Bul-Kathos' Sacred Charge

  • Now has a +30% attack speed (two piece bonus)

Sazabi's Cobalt Redeemer

  • +7-14 life after each kill increased to +10-14

Dangoon's Teaching

  • 23% chance to cast level 31 frost nova on striking increased to 33%

SET BONUSES

Immortal King Set

  • Added +100% enhanced damage (complete set bonus)

Orphan's Call Set

  • + 50 to life increased to +100 (complete set bonus)

PVP

  • We will be supporting two high level and two low level pvp tournaments for both hardcore and softcore in season 8. The top 3 placements in these tournaments will earn a new purple aura
  • PvP maps will now be opened in Act 1 instead of Act 5
  • PvP maps will now be sold by Akara
  • Weapon block and holy sword block chances are now 1/2 in PvP arena (from 1/3 while moving and 1/2 while standing still (this is a buff))
  • Dodge/Avoid now also have 1/2 chance in PvP arena
  • Fist of the Heavens can no longer namelock in pvp arenas

PVP Damage modifier changes:

    • Mind blast damage penalty 10% -> 60%
    • Blade Sentinel damage penalty 60% -> 50%
    • Chain Lightning Sentry damage penalty 60% -> 55%

PATCHES

Season 8 Patch 1 (2023-09-30)

  • Due to some issues we have reverted orb of destructions to one map at a time
  • Orb of destructions should now properly function again
  • Increased the health of the Fallen Gardens Map Boss by 8%
  • Fixed a bug that was allowing Iskatu's minions to drop jewels
  • Reduced the damage of the Warlord of Blood Map Boss by 20%
  • Several balance changes to the mini bosses in unique maps

Season 8 Patch 2 (2023-10-14)

  • Enabled corruption zones in single player
  • Fixed achievement auras not applying
  • Fixed a crash caused by hovering over the portal for some maps with a large amount of text
  • Fixed a bug causing "Skeleton" type monsters to drop no loot
  • Fixed an issue causing barbarians to be disconnected when spamming warcry skills
  • Fixed the parry bonus from block being 10:1 block to parry chance to 5:1 block to parry chance
  • Rebalanced Rathma/Mendeln fight in higher difficulties
  • Fixed some issues with filter level names
  • Fixed some client crashes caused by lootfilters
  • Added the ability to use multi-line names for items in shops
  • Added the skill name being checked in advanced stat screen for breakpoints
  • Lots of server fixes

Season 8 Patch 3 (2023-11-05)

  • Fixed some server issues causing instability
  • Added a toggle for the PVP aura that winners of the tournament can use to activate the aura

PVP changes:

  • Disabled %absorb in PVP
  • Disabled mana potions in PVP arena while Energy Shield is active

Changed PVP modifiers:

  • Open Wounds: Hell: 16% -> 6%, NM: 18% -> 8%, Norm: 20% -> 10%
  • Mind Blast:
    • Hell: 50% -> 30%, Norm/NM: 35% -> 25%
    • no longer gains radius per base level in PVP arena

Mini Crafters League - February 9th 2024

Notes

Mini Crafters League - will begin February 9 10am PST

  • Uniques, sets, and runewords are disabled during the league
    • Hellfire Torch, Annihilus and Gheeds charms are exceptions and will still drop
    • For non-ladder or single player, if you already had these they are fine, but no new uniques, sets, or runewords can be dropped or created
  • Breaking a jewel now results in 4 jewel fragments
  • Cubing 3 Flawless gems now results in 2 Perfect gems
  • Monsters in Hell grant 200% experience
  • Ubers materials such as Voidstones, Visions of Terror and Pandemonium Event Keys are now sold at Anya
  • Respec Tokens are now sold at Akara
  • Crafting infusions are a new type of item that drop from Treasure Fallen and can be used to craft with. For each type of craft there is one infusion. E.g. Blood Craft Infusion, Vampiric Craft Infusion, etc.
    • Only an infusion and the base item you want to craft with are required
  • Treasure Fallen roam the overworld and can spawn in any LOD zone in any difficulty with better loot in higher difficulties
    • Treasure Fallen run ~17% slower
    • Treasure Fallen loot table has been increased.
      • In Normal, they can drop runes up to Thul
      • In Nightmare, they can drop runes up to Lem
      • In Hell, they can drop runes up to Ist
      • Treasure Fallen now drop crafting infusions
  • Rathma/Diablo Clone Tier 1 and Tier 2 difficulty increase has been reduced by ~50% for crafting league
  • Rathma no longer spawns purely random void knights. It follows a consistent pattern;
    • 70% HP: 1 Cold, 2 Fire, 1 Poison
    • 50% HP: 1 Cold, 1 Fire, 2 Poison, 1 Physical
    • 30% HP: 2 Cold, 2 Fire, 1 Poison, 1 Physical
  • Crafting-league recipes to upgrade uber ingredient Tiers are as follows:
    • Vision of Terror + Key = +1 difficulty
    • Voidstone + Key = +1 difficulty
  • Annihilus and Hellfire Torch will still drop from their respective encounters
  • Unique maps are disabled
  • Gheed event in maps is disabled

Fixes and miscellaneous

  • You can now .roll for specific things by typing .roll <message>. This will show:“PlayerName has rolled 1 for Ber Rune”
    • You can now also type .r <message> as an alias for .roll <message>
  • “It’s locked” sound effect plays if you try to change equipment while you’ve locked it
  • Charge was improved/fixed further
  • You can once again use potions during Charge
  • Open Wounds no longer gets reduced twice by enemy physical resistance (fixed)

League Patch #1 (2024-02-10)

  • Fixed the client crash when opening the mercenary hiring page
  • Fixed an issue with the treasure fallen not dropping the full amount when killed too quickly
  • Reduced the drops slightly of treasure fallen in hell mode
  • Fixed a few bugs to help with server stability

League Patch #2 (2024-02-15)

  • Fixed an issue that prevented the 200% experience bonus in hell from applying
  • Increased the spawn rate of Treasure Fallen in LoD zones (about twice as likely)
  • Increased the chance of a map event being a treasure fallen event
    • This was done by replacing the chance for Gheed event and the uber key event with Treasure Fallen (so Treasure Fallen is 3x more likely than other events)
    • The Uber key event will no longer spawn due to the above
  • Increased the base chance for map events from 33% -> 66%
  • Increased the rune and crafting infusion drop rates on treasure fallen in Hell
  • Added Larzuk's Puzzlepiece as a drop from treasure fallen in Hell
  • Changed the jewel -> jewel fragments recipe to produce 3 jewel fragments per jewel (the 4 fragments was unintentional but it was breaking the recipe with a full cube of jewels)
  • Added new recipes for crafting league only to recycle crafted items:
    • Any crafted item + a rune from Ko -> Pul will revert the crafted item to a magic item which can be crafted again
    • The item level of the recycled item will be reduced by a percentage based on the rune:
      • Ko + Crafted item -> Magic Item with 70% item level
      • Fal + Crafted item -> Magic Item with 80% item level
      • Lem + Crafted item -> Magic Item with 90% item level
      • Pul + Crafted item -> Magic Item with 100% item level

  • League Name -- Anarchy: April 12 start, open beta April 8-10, closed beta March 30 - April 7
  • Crafting infusions will be staying, but will be treasure fallen event exclusive item
  • Treasure fallen loot table changes from crafting season (i.e. can drop higher runes) will stay minus puzzle pieces, but will no longer spawn in LoD
  • Next Hit Always Misses bug fixed (was common with Zeal and other melee attacks if put into hit recovery, block, etc; Sacrifice self-damage and Holy Sword block would automatically cause this NHAM bug)
  • Melee hit checks simplified: will do an initial target range check to move character into hit range, and then the secondary range check is more lenient if monster moves after initial target
  • Reduced volume level of main menu music
  • Reworked next hit delay to be on a per missile type for caster basis -- this means you can't next hit delay yourself if you use multiple skills to do damage (i.e. Twister and Tornado don't delay each other) and applies to other player's skills in game as well; may result in nerfs for skills that relied on damage increase to cover hit delays and/or additional Monster HP increases per player in multiplayer
  • Necro Poison Dagger now has a spread mechanic - if a monster dies while poisoned by Dagger, it will release a cloud upon death
  • Necro Poison Dagger poison cloud larger
  • Increased maximum sprite limit in game, will no longer have graphics go invisible when too much is on screen (aka Shenk Bug)
  • Added commands for player statistics: .kills of various types (.kills all - all monsters killed, .kills dclone, .kills maps, etc.), .played for time played, .deaths for death count; stats also will function on PlugY for single player
  • Top 3 99s, DClone Tier 2, Rathma Tier 2 all get account-wide aura with a lightning effect; all other 99s and DClone/Rathma Tier 2 will get a character-bound aura without lightning (the character-bound auras will also work in singleplayer and carry over to non-ladder)
  • TBA changes to Dungeon Boss farming
  • Skills no longer have a cooldown when in town - summon QoL when starting a run
  • All permanent summons will carryover through games (i.e. not Ravens or Revives); Valks will reroll new armor between games; Iron Golem still undetermined on how that will function
  • Uber Tristram is no longer in D2GS code, now part of game -- will natively work in single player/PlugY, and can now fix bugs when seen in Tristram
  • Uber Tristram house cheese is gone, players and monsters can no longer go in the houses
  • Pally Charge now hits non-namelocked monsters; would do a ghost attack that would miss if a monster was not namelocked
  • Standard of Heroes now only dropped from Uber Ancients, no longer drops in Uber Tristram (leaning toward 1 guaranteed and a chance of +1 per additional Ancient defeated)

  • New UI when creating a game - buttons for selecting game server instead of typing GS in description
  • Can only have one Iron Golem - it is no longer overridden by other golems and always has a separate minion icon/healthbar

  • Elite armors: Big adjustments across the board -- Dusk Shroud, Wyrmhide, Scarab Husk, Wire Fleece, Archon Plate dropping 60-120 base defense; Hellforged Plate, Lacquered Plate, Shadow Plate, Sacred Armor increased 100+ base defense; other Elites in middle range of changes
  • Shadow Plate strength requirement dropped from 232 to 220 strength to be in line with strength scaling with bases in Normal and Exceptional
  • Unsummoning Iron Golem will make the item used re-drop to be picked up
  • Pally Holy Light reworked: If cast on enemy, does magic damage to target and 50% heal to party in AoE around target; If cast on party, does full heal to party and 50% damage to monsters in AoE around target
  • Brought back full palette of colors to elite monsters that were previously disabled due to bug
  • Attack Rating Cap is changed from 95% to 100% -- applied to Ignore Target Defense as well
  • Sorc Teleport buffed: Damage penalty reduced from 65% to 50% base, reduces by 2% per soft point skill level up to lvl 16 skill, reduces by 1% per level for lvl 17+ skill
  • Sorc Energy Shield change: No longer has a Telekinesis synergy, can max scale through skill points, now caps at 90% damage taken to mana instead of 85% -- the max cap also applies to Uldyssian's Awakening unique Ghost Spear
  • Set items can now roll ethereal, will result in some TBD balance changes
